How to make it
- Brew a cup of coffee. Use your coffee maker, French press, or even instant coffee. Whatever you have works.
- Pour your hot coffee into a mug.
- Add a splash of cream. Start with about 2 tablespoons but honestly use as much or as little as you like.
- Stir it up so the cream mixes in.
- Taste it. If you want it a bit sweeter, you can add some sugar.
- Give it another good stir. That’s it. Drink up!
lightbulb_2 Tips
- Any cream works: Half-and-half, heavy cream, or even that little carton from the corner store.
- Hot coffee blends better: Cream mixes best in hot, not lukewarm coffee.
- Don’t overthink it: There’s no wrong way. Some people add a lot of cream. Some like just a little. Both are good.
- Try vanilla: If you want a little twist, put a drop of vanilla in. Not much. Just a drop.
- No cream?: Milk or even a bit of butter can work in a pinch (sounds weird, but people do it).
- Sweet tooth: Sugar, honey, or maple syrup works for sweetening, just add a little at a time.
