Oven Bacon (Super Easy Way)
Bacon in the oven is my favorite way to make a bunch at once. You just lay it out, bake it, and you are done. Less mess, less standing around.

What to do
- Heat your oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
- Grab a baking sheet and line it with parchment or foil. Foil is easier for cleaning up after.
- Lay out the bacon in one flat layer. Make sure the slices do not overlap. If they do, they will stick together.
- Put the tray in the oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Check on it around the 15 minute mark. If you want it more crispy, let it go a little longer.
- When it looks good to you, take it out. Use tongs or a fork and move the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels so the extra grease comes off.
- Wait a couple minutes before eating. It is really hot.
That’s it. Works great when the whole family wants bacon, or if you just do not want to stand at the stove.
lightbulb_2 Tips
- Use foil for super easy clean-up
- Check early—bacon goes from good to burnt quick. Ovens are all a little different
- If your bacon slices are thick, it might take a bit longer
- You can save the bacon grease. Pour it in a jar and use it for frying eggs later
- Parchment is ok, but sometimes the fat can leak under. Foil makes it less messy
